Disney-Pixar studios, who brought you hits like “Up,” “Toy Story” and “The Incredibles” are taking on a new venture that will bring a hilarious glimpse into what the world would be like if the dinosaurs were never extinct.
“The Good Dinosaur,” set for a 2014 release, will take a look at what would have happened “if the cataclysmic asteroid that forever changed life on Earth actually missed the planet completely and the dinosaurs never became extinct,” the studio tells Fox411 via a statement.
The film will be directed by Bob Peterson, who co-directed “Up” and served as a story artist for “A Bug’s Life” and “Toy Story 2.”
It will be produced by John Walker, who previously worked on “The Incredibles.”
