Paul McCartney’s new album is called “Kisses on the Bottom.” No, really. Apparently it refers to the XOXOXO’s that people put on the bottom of letters that signify kisses and hugs (when people used to write letters, that is). We will take Sir Paul at his word because he is a Beatle and he wrote ‘Paperback Writer,’ which is genius. But maybe he should have run the new album title past his much younger wife, Nancy Shevell, seen here frolicking on their vacation near McCartney’s estate in Jamaica, for the all important “Does this sound alright dear?” test. Just sayin.

UPDATE: The “bottom kisses” lyrics in question are apparently from a Fats Waller song. So McCartney did not write them. But he did make them the title of his ablum.
