Hugh Hefner and Playboy are saying their Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy issue, which hit newsstands on December 15, is selling out across the country. But Fox411 reported over the weekend that retailers we talked to in New York City weren’t having such luck with the issue. We snapped this pic Tuesday morning at Reagan International airport’s Heritage Booksellers where a clerk identified as London told us he had worked in four of the airport’s stores over the past few days, had seen only a total of six sold, and said the racks were still full.

“I expected it to sell better,” London said.

The issue was rushed to newsstands after it was leaked online by a Russian hacker, who told Fox411 he does it all the time.
