It looks Carrie Underwood took a page out of Angelina Jolie’s Oscar dress book.

The cover of “Blown Away,” Underwood’s fourth studio album since winning American Idol’s fourth season, depicts the modern Underwood as an airbrushed, supermodel heroine, right leg thrust out forward from a glamorous gown like Angelina Jolie at the Academy Awards.

Angelina Jolie presented writer Jim Rash his Oscar for Adapted Screenplay for “The Descendants” on Sunday night.

Jolie, Crystal appearances have tongues wagging at Oscars.

Then Rash paid her back by aping her strange “you put your right leg in” Hokey Pokey Oscar pose, which she had demonstrated on both the red carpet and as a presenter.

So was it a diss, or an homage?

“I had just seen her pose and thought it was bold and fun,” he told the Hollywood Reporter backstage. “And you know what? We have exactly the same legs! Really, it was a loving tribute and nothing but.”

But it doesn’t stop there. Jolie’s leg has also spawned its own Twitter account, and it’s an instant hit.

The Twitter feed dubbed “Angie’s Right Leg” has more than 12,000 followers by midday Monday.

Sample tweets include “I’m a leg!” and “Look at the leg!”

The Oscars are different than they used to be.

Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie both recently stepped out in black for an awards season soiree.

Los Angeles police are reportedly searching the area under the iconic Hollywood sign after hikers found a severed head in the area. There’s a famous park near by that’s often frequented by A-list stars and their tots, including Brad Pitt and the twins (seen here). Brad and Angie’s house is just a few blocks away. (x17online.com)

Angelina Jolie was recently spotted toy gun shopping with her two sons, Maddox (not shown) and Pax in Hollywood, following a quick lunch at McDonald’s.

Jolie, a U.N. ambassador and peace activist, was all smiles while Pax appeared to pretend to be hit with bullets while holding a large toy machine gun.

The photo comes just two days after a Texas eighth-grader was shot by police for brandishing a pellet gun at school.
